Worship is at the heart of our faith and the heart of our church. Worship is the natural response to the revelation of God our father and his son Jesus Christ. We believe that worship is a time for God's grace to be shown - to receive and express unconditional love for Jesus Christ. Whether you feel burdened our jubilant, you will find a place to express your heart.

Mission Statement: Our purpose as a worship team is to create an intimate atmosphere of praise and thanksgiving to our Lord Jesus Christ, through anointed music, singing and other creative expressions such as flagging and dancing.

Vision Statement: One of the most important things we do at City Light Church is to come together as one body in spirit and in truth; contributing to the collective response to God's awesomeness through praise and worship.Our vision is to be a worship team that is spirit-filled, skillful and creative.

Spirit-Filled Our first desire is to seek God's will in all things, being in tune to the direction of the Holy Spirit and surrendering in obedience. We believe that God anoints His musicians who have a heart after Him. It is imperative that through a balance of the word and spirit we learn to tune our ears to hear the promptings of the Holy Spirit.

Skillful Practice makes perfect. The more skilled we become as worship musicians, the more we are able to expand into new territory - new styles of music, new songs and free worship*.

Creative God is the author of creation; His works are wondrous and unique. Worship is more than just a song, it's an expression; it's a lifestyle! Whether through art; poetry, music, dance, drama or multimedia; worship should be unique and creative. God is creative in His love for us, so should we respond creatively to Him.
